Q. Should I put my time into upgrading my site or promoting it.
A. An old internet saying - from the late '90s said "Put 50% of your time into researching and planning, 25% into writing the words and taking photos, 25% into designing you site ...... and another 100% into promoting it."

Q. What is the single best way to promote my web site?
A. Put your URL (ie. www.your-site.co.nz) on everything. Your letterhead, car, business card, print advertising, T-shirts, brochures etc. If you have two sites, put both URLs on everything.

Q. How do I add my site to the Google search engine?
A. At this URL you may submit your site to Google. Have a 20 word summary prepared. Usually this should be the first sentence from your home page.

Q. Should I exchanging links with other accommodation sites.
A. Yes. These other sites will ideally promote accommodation of a similar standard to your own but be in different parts on New Zealand, or other parts of the world. The idea is to bring visitors to your site who are genuine potential guests.
