Q. What is your main business?
A. We design and host accommodation web sites. A listing on bbnz.com to tell guests about your web site is included with the hosting service.

Q. Once my web site is on your servers what is the monthly site-hosting fee?
A. $30. This includes the software to run your Availability Page and Secure Booking Page.

Q. Will you make free ongoing changes to my site once it is up and running?
A. The short answer is no, but with the following exception. We will alter your tariffs at no charge.

Q. What is your hourly rate for web design work?
A. NZ$55 + GST per hour for members only.

Q. I am about to register my own domain name. Where should I do this?
A. We suggest doing this at www.webdrive.co.nz , www.freeparking.co.nz or www.domainz.net.nz. All these are New Zealand Companies.

Q. What happens if I miss a monthly direct credit web hosting fee payment. Will my site suddenly go off-line?
A. Don't Worry, we will remind you that the fee did not go through and that we will bill your credit card instead in a few days time. OR, we will ask you to make some other arrangement.

Q. What if I need another web designer to work on the site?
A. No problem. We will provide them with FTP access to the site (this allows the designer to upload new or altered pages).

Q. Will my site have its own domain name ( www.your-name.co.nz)?
A. Yes. If you don't already have one we can register your domain for $40 per year.

Q. How secure is the Secure booking page?
A. The secure booking page runs within a secure environment. When your guest clicks the "send" button, two emails are sent to you from within that secure environment. The second email includes the half of your visitors credit card number. The credit card number is never complete outside of the secure environment.

Q. I'm interested in a "Moderated guest comments page". What if someone leaves an inappropriate massage?
A. Our webmaster has to approve messages before they are displayed, so any malicious ones are filtered out.

Q. I want to transfer an existing web site to your servers. Will it be off-line while this happens?
A. No. We will set up a duplicate of your existing web site on our servers and then you, your web designer, will change your domain name server records to the following:
Primary Name Server - ns1.nameserver.net.nz
Secondary Name Server - ns2.nameserver.net.nz
Then, your web site will be "seen" in its new location.

Q. I'm setting up to advertise with Google AdWords. How should I best use by budget?
A. For nnbz.com, we have our "bid" per click set so that the number of clicks ends up being spread throughout the month. If our budget is "spent" by the 15th on the month then we lower my bid so that we get more "clicks" per dollar next month. If some budget is unspent at the end of the month we introduce another search phrase, or increase our bid. Also we have our preferred position set high for less common search phrases and lower for the common phrases. The logic being that large Hotel chains will always out bid us for obvious searches like "New Zealand Accommodation"
